I’m Matthew Rochat, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of California Santa Barbara. Born and raised in Minnesota, I received my B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Several years of traveling and working in various parts of the world have inspired my research in international relations, political economy, foreign policy, and economic development.
